About the Company

Kind Hands 4 Paws is a non-profit organization located in Ohio that prides itself on providing the community with a safe haven for animals to receive the care they need while they wait for adoption. They are a foster-based rescue team and home, and the staff has worked together for years to provide care and training to dogs. Believing that every dog’s life is sacred, the staff is certain that all dogs deserve a chance to be given to a loving, caring home regardless of age or health.

The Adoption Process

At Kind Hands 4 Paws, they take great care to ensure that every dog adopted is not only going to a loving, caring home but that the home is an environment best suited for them. For example, in addition to making sure all their dogs in their foster home are spayed or neutered, they won’t allow any dogs to go to a home with unspayed or unneutered pets. Additionally, they won’t place dogs that are under nine months of age in a home where they’ll be left alone for any time period greater than four hours.

If there’s a dog that you’re interested in adopting, you can simply contact the foster home and they will send you an adoption application for you to fill out. After being approved for adoption, the foster home will arrange a visit or meeting between you and your prospective new companion. Animals can’t be reserved and are adopted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Kind Hands 4 Paws offers volunteer opportunities both on-site and off. Knowing that animals thrive and feel far more comfortable in a home environment, one aspect of the volunteer program is the ability to look after dogs at your home. This program is perfect for someone who wants to help and make a difference, but perhaps is unable to fully commit to owning a pet. In addition to having a new furry animal to play with, Kind Hands 4 Paws will also provide you with food for the animal. If looking after a dog isn’t the right fit for you or your lifestyle, the organization would be grateful to accept your donation.
